At Librance Action Sports you will see that are proud to specialise in complete skateboard set ups as they are the best value for money for all beginner to intermediate riders. All our boards come assembled and are fitted with the very best components which last a lot longer than other brands on the market. Our skateboards range in widths as generally a beginner will start off with a deck that is 7.5 to 7.75 inches as they are easier to start learning your first flat tricks such as an ollie. Wider skateboard decks are better suited for some one that enjoys to ride bowls or half pipes.
If you are unsure what complete skateboard to buy then please contact us as we can talk you over everything and find the board that best suits the person. As you can see our range of skateboards are from the industry favourites being MGP, Tony Hawk, Alien Workshop, Powell and Santa Cruz to name a view and understand they all look similar but as the price shows there are differences between them. For a young boy or girl then we would recommend looking at the Rocket Skateboards as they are slightly shorter in length and are a good solid basic skateboard. Usually some one riding a Rocket Skateboard would be in the age group between 5 and 8. Once the user is at 8 and above, even if it's their first skateboard then we would recommend the MGP Skateboards as we have found they are hard wearing and the brand always goes down well in households at Christmas.
If you haven't heard of MGP then most parents will have heard of Tony Hawk. He is a legend and most of us heard of him pulling the first 900, winning all the medals in the X-Games or have enjoyed playing one of his many games on the computer. If your child hasn't heard of him then get the games out and start learning some of the tricks so you can impress the youngster when they have their first skateboard and you are taking them in to the skatepark. If this does happen, which it does then it would be best as an adult to look at the Santa Cruz, Alien Workshop or Powells skateboards. This is because you are going to be the one throwing down bigger skate tricks in the park and will need something taking the extra g-force.
