Longboard Wheels

Downhill and Cruiser wheels are larger and wider. They feature three different bearing hub seats; side set, off set and centre set. Side set mean they grip less and they break into slides easier. Off set offer more but can still be made to slide when you want them to. Centre set are the most grippy and can be swapped around so they wear out more evenly. We are really pleased to offer you some of the very best longboard brands available, including Arbor, Landyachtz, Lush, D-Street, Urban Blue, Cult, Hawgs, Abec 11, Sims, Santa Cruz, Bear, Caliber and Saber.

The diameter of the wheel and the wheel’s durometer are the two main factors in choosing the proper wheels for your cruiser or longboard. If you have a long deck, generally you would be looking for larger wheels, the same goes for smaller decks- smaller wheels work best. It's not so say you can swap and change but if you do choose a bigger wheel for a smaller deck, just watch out for wheel bite if the wheel is catching on the bottom of the deck. The hardness of each wheel is determined by how you ride your cruiser or longboard. A softer, more comfortable wheel will ride over all surfaces better and is more suited to a cruiser than a longboard. A harder wheel is designed for faster speeds more like downhill longboarding and is designed for a heavier longboard set up.
